We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support residents living with physical and intellectual disabilities across two supported accommodation houses in Woy Woy.About the Role:You will be responsible for managing the complex health needs of seven residents (3 male, 4 female) aged between 37 and 83 years, living across two houses on the same block. The male residents are non-verbal and require sensitive, person-centred care.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage medical and clinical care, including:Epilepsy managementCatheter carePEG feeding regimesDysphagia supportAdherence to Modified Meal Plans (MMP) for oral intakeSupport AINs and DSWs with personal care tasksMonitor and document health status changes and escalate as requiredCollaborate with the care team to promote quality of life and dignity for all residentsShifts Available:AM and PM shifts mostly but some NDFlexibility to work across a rotating roster will be highly regardedWhat We’re Looking For:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseExperience in disability or aged care settingsStrong understanding of PEG, catheter, and seizure managementExcellent communication skills, especially in working with non-verbal clientsCompassionate, patient, and team-oriented approachNDIS Worker Screener (or willing to obtain) and Current CPR Certificate, HLTAID009 (or willing to obtain)BenefitsYour Schedule â Your Way as a casual employee!
