Quality and Compliance Manager, Aged Care – Lower North Shore

We are seeking a Quality and Compliance Manager to lead the Quality and Compliance Department on a fixed 12-month contract with one of our award-winning Aged Care Provider clients, in Sydney's Lower North Shore.Our client has a proud history as a not-for-profit providing support to older members of the community to live with choice, dignity, and wellbeing.You will be required to support all the departments to maintain the Accreditation Standards and be the key point of contact for all Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission visits, including overseeing the re-accreditation process of four campuses.  Reporting to the Director of Quality, Compliance and Risk, you will develop and maintain Quality Assurance Initiatives that are aligned with organisational strategy, legislative requirements, and internal policies.You will have previous management experience with the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment. Key responsibilitiesProvide professional development support to all staff in relation to quality assurance and improvement activitiesProvide oversight of Critical Incidents and policy development and updatesProvide leadership and support to all departments regarding the maintenance of the Accreditation Standards Manage and analyse internally generated surveysProvide insight into the organisation’s training initiatives in the areas of quality processes and continuous improvement initiativesStaying abreast of all legislative changes and alerts and communicate changes to the organisationEnsuring all mandatory and organisational registers are currentChair nominated meetings Essential CriteriaTertiary qualifications in Nursing, Allied Health, Science, or other related disciplineExtensive management experience within an Aged Care Quality and Compliance roleMinimum of 5 years of experience in Aged CareWorking knowledge of the Australian Aged Care StandardsHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated project management skillsStrong analytical skillsProficient computer skills BenefitsThe opportunity to work for an award-winning Aged Care Provider with a  passion for continuous improvement and excellenceCompetitive remuneration package that includes not-for-profit Salary PackagingGenerous leave entitlementsHighly supportive workplace culture 110000 AUD Sydney
