Home Service Manager

We are seeking a full-time Home Service Manager on behalf of one of our award-winning clients, which provides support to people with disabilities across Sydney and Northern NSW.This is an opportunity to join a high performing and motivated leadership team, committed to achieving the best outcomes and making a difference in the sector. You will put the clients at the forefront of everything you do, assisting them with making choices, planning goals, and ensuring they have the best opportunity to learn, work and thrive in their community.In this role, you will be managing four group homes in Western Sydney, and be the key contact and liaison for stakeholders, clients, and their families. You will be reporting to the Operations Manager or the General Manager depending on the location. The My Home Service Manager is accountable for customer, staff, quality, and financial outcomes at a local level. Managing service entry and exit, data collection and evidence for client SIL planning and contributing to plan reviews. Striving to provide positive outcomes, ensuring quality of life and health support to clients, positive staff performance and engagement with service sustainability across accommodation sites.You will also manage the quality and safeguarding responsibilities across the four sites. Identifying and actioning staff vacancies, undertaking onboarding, ensuring all staff are appropriately trained, assisting with performance management and promoting a positive employee experience for all staff.  The My Home Service Manager will also proactively meet the NDIS practise standard requirements, managing the WHS at the site, as well as ensuring risks are appropriately documented and managed. Essential CriteriaRelevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent (Disability, Nursing or related)Comprehensive understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the principles of active support and human rights-based approach to service deliveryExperience managing multi-site accommodation servicesCommitted to client outcomes and providing a positive employee experience, with the ability to transform the performance and culture in the workplaceDemonstrated experience with managing a wide range of complex workforce and client grievances.
