General Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a General Manager with a well known Aged Care provider, located in the south west of Sydney,Full time role, competitive salary + benefits!You set the standard for your self and your team in promoting our clients Customer Service Spirit in cultural leadership and consumer advocacy for every consumer experience.Oversee services to maintain a home-like environment for Consumers.Proactively seek Consumer feedback and advice, and action in collaboration with the Care Team.Advocate for Consumers – be fearless in thought and action.Enable and empower the Care Team to embody a Customer Service Spirit.Act as escalation for complaints handling and resolutions.Implement and monitor channels to encourage understanding of Consumers and Families and nurture two-way communication.You proactively manage your Facility in line with a Business Plan, demonstrating financial savvy, business acumen and entrepreneurship.Provide input into the strategic and business planning processes.Actively lead and contribute to activities designed to achieve strategic and operational plans.Work collaboratively with the Executive as a contributing individual to a high performing team, recognising and utilising individual and collective strengths.Prepare budgets in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer.Work with the Director of Care & Community to set, and deliver a Facility Business Plan that is aligned to our clients Strategic Business Plan, including financial and other performance metrics.Monitor and manage the financial health of the Facility (revenue; monitor expenditure to budget and take corrective action as required).Monthly reporting on facility performance against agreed targets.Ensure occupancy levels are maintained at budget levels and implement initiatives to maximise capacity.Optimise ACFI funding through the application and implementation of policies, procedures and other information associated with ACFI.Ensure that the Facility is operated in accordance with legal and ethical requirements.Advise and provide direction to staff on the application and implementation of policies, procedures and other information associated with Consumer care and support.Identify trends within the Aged Care sector and Facilitate local area and develop strategies to capitalise on trends.Desired: Current AHPRA registration/Tertiary Nursing QualificationsPrevious management and leadership experienceExperienced within the Aged Care/ Disability sectorPrevious experience and knowledge in accreditation, funding protocols Legislative standards and compliance requirements    AUD Lakemba 2195
